Trout With Herbed Almond Sauce Recipe For Yeast Infection
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup almonds, unsalted, roasted
- 1/4 cup buttermilk/milk
- 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt, plain
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1 cup parsley
- 1/3 cup fresh mint
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 lb rainbow trout fillets
Instructions
- Place almonds in a food processor and pulse into small pieces. Add buttermilk, yogurt, shallots, spinach, parsley, mint, lemon zest, lemon juice, cayenne and salt and process until smooth. Chill 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 300 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Season trout with salt and pepper and place skin-side down on sheet. Bake 15 minutes, or until just barely cooked through in the thickest part of the flesh. Divide into servings and top with almond sauce.
